Aspion are seeking Sub Assembly Operators to join a growing manufacturing team who strive for excellence in their given industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position as a Sub Assembler learning new techniques and training to develop in the role.
The Sub Assembler will be the first to handle materials such as fabric, leather, and Velcro to start the cutting process following drawings and patterns.
The ideal candidate should possess a background in operating various machinery such as CNC, mechanical tools, and digital machines.
This role will involve key processes such as lamination, clicker press, autoclave & pleating, kitting, and assisting Fabric Cutters with stock movement from automated cutting machines. The Sub Assembly Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a variety of machinery, including CNC machines, mechanical tools, and digital equipment, to carry out manufacturing processes.
- Perform lamination, clicker press, autoclave & pleating operations according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Assist with kitting activities, ensuring that materials are accurately selected and assembled for production runs.
- Collaborate with Fabric Cutters to facilitate the movement of stock from automated cutting machines and ensure proper organization of materials.
- Monitor and adjust machinery settings as needed to ensure accurate and consistent production output.
There will be training given so no direct experience needed if the candidate has used machinery in a previous role.
Day Shift available – 40 hours Mon – Fri
Shift Pattern – Mon- Thur – 14.00 – 23.00 – Fri 12.00 – 17.00
