Sales Executive

Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience
Our client, a leading company in the metals industry is seeking a skilled Sales Executive to drive the promotion and sale specialty metals products. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of key accounts, handle new customer inquiries, drive new business and ensure a high level of service across all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master the full range of products and services; duplex & super duplex steels, nickel alloys, engineering steels.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, consistently meeting targets.
- Convert inquiries into accurate quotations with speed and precision.
- Follow up on quotes to secure orders and gather valuable feedback.
- Maintain regular client contact via phone and email, and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the external sales team on key customer visits.
- Negotiate effectively with customers to achieve the best outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in the metals industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- A results-driven approach with a focus on meeting targets.
