Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 (Depending on Experience)
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days)
My client a large FMCG Manufacturer is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team in the Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, offering a competitive salary and excellent development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of vacuum systems, palletisers, and conveyor systems.
- Fault-finding and diagnostics on PLC systems.
- Ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across operations.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects and process enhancements.
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols and regulations.
About You:
- Apprentice trained/HNC/HND/Btec in a relevant discipline.
- Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills, ideal split 60 electrical / 40 mechanical.
- Knowledge and experience in FMCG environments (desirable).
- Familiarity with PLC systems and the ability to fault-find.
- Proactive, reliable, and a team player.
