Job Title: Crane Engineer
Working Model / Location: On Site / Dudley
Salary + Benefits: 35,000 – 40,000 DOE – Overtime available

Key Responsibilities:
Crane Maintenance and Inspection:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities on electric overhead travelling cranes to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues promptly.
Repairs and Upgrades:
- Execute repairs and modifications to cranes as needed.
- Propose and implement upgrades to enhance crane performance, efficiency, and safety.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Generate detailed reports on the status of each crane, including recommendations for improvements.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to warehouse staff on the safe and efficient operation of cranes.
- Collaborate with other departments to address any crane-related concerns and provide technical expertise.
Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to any emergency situations involving cranes, ensuring a swift and effective resolution.
Compliance:
- Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Ensure that all crane-related activities adhere to safety and compliance guidelines.
About You:
- Proven experience working with electric overhead travelling cranes, preferably in a steel or heavy industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
