CNC Machinist

39 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 6:15 am – 4:30 pm)

Are you a skilled CNC machinist looking for a role that combines technical excellence with an exceptional work-life balance?
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set, and operate manual and CNC machine tools, including lathes and milling machines.
- Work with a range of materials, primarily stainless steel, to produce high-precision vacuum components.
- Ensure all products meet exacting quality standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and take responsibility for your own health and safety.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled CNC Machinist with a time-served apprenticeship (HND qualification preferred).
- Skilled in operating manual and CNC lathes and mills (MAZAK Mazatrol experience is advantageous).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent communication skills.
- Experience with CAD software, vacuum systems, TIG welding, or stress analysis (desirable).
