Currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious Business Development Manager to join the team. This role is an exciting opportunity to build a new business area from scratch, focusing purely on business development within the metals industry.
- New Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase sales and profitability. This will involve proactive outreach, including cold calls and customer visits.
- Sales and Quoting: Prepare and follow up on sales quotes to convert leads into customers. You will be expected to meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly basis to earn your bonus.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure long-term business growth.
- Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business development strategies.
- Experience: Proven experience in the metals industry, particularly in selling multiple non-ferrous goods.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong customer focus, and the ability to work independently.
- Attitude: A self-starter attitude with a high level of initiative, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong drive to achieve results.
