Aspion are currently recruiting for a Billing Administrator to join a busy finance team in the Stockton-on-Tees area. This is a great opportunity to join a growing business and one of the leading UK suppliers who are going from strength to strength.
The ideal candidate will be a detailed oriented and organized Billing Administrator who ensures accurate and timely invoicing, payments, and financial transactions for their clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing procedures, excellent numerical skills, and a keen eye for accuracy. The Billing Administrator will work closely with our finance team and clients to maintain smooth and efficient billing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoicing and Billing:
- Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review invoices for accuracy and completeness before sending them to clients.
- Ensure compliance with company billing policies and procedures.
Payment Processing:
- Track and record payments received from clients.
- Reconcile payments against outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies.
Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for billing inquiries from clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service to address any billing-related concerns or questions.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements related to billing.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist in generating and analyzing billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of strategies to optimize billing processes.
Collaboration with Finance Team:
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Adherence to Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay updated on relevant billing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all billing practices are in accordance with legal and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in billing administration or a related role.
- Proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant billing regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
